Is Pricer free?

Yes. The website, the iPhone app and the Chrome extension are all free, with no paid tier.

Which supermarkets does Pricer compare?

Woolworths (formerly Countdown), New World, Pak'nSave and FreshChoice, across New Zealand.

How often are grocery prices updated?

Shelf prices are checked every day, and every product page shows when its price was last checked.

Does Pricer show prices for my local store?

Yes. New World and Pak'nSave price by region, so once you pick your stores Pricer shows the price at the ones you actually shop at.

Can I compare a whole shopping list?

Yes. Build your list once and Pricer totals it at each supermarket, cheapest first, with substitutes where a store doesn't stock an item.

Is there a Pricer app?

Pricer for iPhone is on the App Store, and Pricer for Chrome adds price comparisons to the supermarket websites you already use.

How many of these apps do we need?

I started building Pricer years ago, well before the current wave of grocery price apps (except Grocer - He started that ages ago).
